With 20 million downloads, Promova introduces AI Role Play, a feature designed to help language learners practice real conversations in a structured, stress-free environment.
Speaking remains the biggest challenge for language learners. More than 60% fear making mistakes, and 80% feel anxious when speaking. AI Role Play bridges this gap by simulating real-world conversations with an AI conversation partner that listens, responds naturally, and provides instant feedback on fluency, pronunciation, and clarity. Initially launched in English, the feature has processed over 400,000 voice messages, helping learners practice across 50 real-life scenarios. Now, AI Role Play is expanding to Spanish, French, and German, making speaking practice more accessible than ever.
The feature provides guided practice in key everyday situations, including:
- Daily Conversations – Ordering coffee, making small talk, chatting with a neighbor.
- Travel & Social Situations – Checking into a hotel, navigating an airport, asking for directions.
- Work & Business – Job interviews, workplace discussions, negotiating with HR.
- Problem-Solving – Making a complaint, explaining a medical issue, handling a lost item.
Promova continues to develop AI Role Play, regularly adding new scenarios and languages to expand real-world speaking opportunities for learners.
