nobody is a pronoun that is used to refer to no person or persons; this pronoun is always singular and takes a singular verb. There are two forms of nobody 'nobody' and 'no one.' Nobody can be used as the subject or object of a verb or preposition; however, it cannot be the possessive form.

1. 'Nobody came to the party.'

2. 'I saw nobody on the street last night.'

3. 'Nobody knows what the future holds.'

nobody should not be followed by an adverb.
