1. Trial
We may offer a free or a paid trial subscription for service. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged a price indicated on the payment screen for a chosen subscription period.
Please note that each user account is eligible for only one (1) trial lesson with a personal tutor. You may not access or attempt to access more than one trial lesson with a personal tutor using the same account. Any such attempt is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to monitor and enforce this limitation at our sole discretion. Any violation may result in the immediate termination of your access to our services.
2. Subscription
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period you selected at the time of purchase (each week, month, 6 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the option selected by you at the time of purchase) until you cancel.
3. Credits (applies only to subscriptions to personal tutoring services)
As part of a subscription plan to personal tutoring services, you will receive a stated amount of Credits included under such a subscription plan. Credits may only be redeemed on the Promova services. All Credits are valid and can be used only within a subscription period selected by you at the time of purchase.
For the 25-minute lesson, you need 1 credit.
For the 50-minute lesson, you need 2 credits.
For the 90-minute lesson, you need 3 credits.
4. Upgrades and Downgrades (applies only to subscriptions to personal tutoring services)
During the subscription period, you may upgrade or downgrade your subscription. By changing to another subscription plan, you will be automatically charged on a recurring basis the subscription fee for the plan you choose, to the payment method associated with your account. Your subscription period dates will change accordingly, but you will be able to continue using the remaining Credits included under your previous subscription plan up until the next billing date.
5. Extra Credits (applies only to subscriptions to personal tutoring services)
If you used all the Credits included into your subscription plan before the end of the subscription period, you can buy any number of extra Credits. Extra Credits are valid only until the next billing date.
6. Subscription to Group Class Courses
You can subscribe to group class courses with a pre-defined level, topic, schedule, and duration. The group classes cannot be canceled or refunded. If you are unable to attend any class within the chosen course, you will receive class materials. We can reschedule a group class up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
7. Payment method
Payment will be charged to the payment method you submitted at the time of purchase at confirmation of purchase. You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to the payment method that you submit.
8. Cancellation
Canceling your subscription means that the automatic renewal will be disabled, but you will still have access to all your subscription features for the remaining time of the then-current period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscriptions.
Cancelling a subscription through either the app or website will cancel the subscription and access to the entire service provided under the subscription, which is available both through the app or website.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on App Store: You can cancel a trial or a subscription anytime by turning-off autorenewal through your Apple ID account settings. To avoid being charged, cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or then-current subscription period. If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on Google Play: You can cancel a trial or a subscription anytime by turning off auto-renewal through your Google Play account settings. If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on the website or in the app using a purchasing method other than in-app purchase via App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery:
You can cancel a trial or a subscription on the website using this tool:
1. Login to your profile
2. Go to ‘Personal info’
3. Go to the ‘Payments and Subscriptions tab’
4. Find your Subscription
5. In the top right corner click the 3 dots and choose ‘Cancel’
Or you can contact our support team.
To cancel the subscription in the app use the mechanism of cancelling subscription through account settings:
Profile > Settings (top-right corner) > My Subscription > Cancel
9. Changes
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, we may change subscription fees at any time. We will give you reasonable notice of any such pricing changes by posting the new prices on the app and/or by sending you an email notification, or in other prominent way. If you do not wish to pay the new fees, you can cancel the applicable subscription prior to the change going into effect.
10. Refunds
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on App Store: If you are eligible for a refund, you’ll have to request it directly from Apple. To request a refund, follow these instructions from the Apple support page.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on Google Play: If you are eligible for a refund, you'll have to request it directly from Google. To request a refund, follow these instructions from the Google’s support page.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on the Huawei AppGallery: If you used Huawei In-App Purchases to make a purchase, to request a refund, please coordinate with Huawei customer service for assistance Huawei’s support page. If you used our website to make a purchase, please refer to our Refund Policy.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on our website or in the app using a purchasing method other than in-app purchase via App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery: Please refer to our Refund Policy.
